What unites us here at Nanoscribe is our ambition to jointly shape the future of 3D microfabrication. In developing, manufacturing, selling and supporting our high-precision additive manufacturing technologies, we are passionate about enabling breakthrough scientific research and driving industrial innovation. We are a multicultural team with more than 100 highly qualified employees from over 15 countries and have a network to customers in more than 30 countries. How to apply at Nanoscribe

Sending your application

Please send us your application, starting with a convincing cover letter. It should clarify your essential experiences and competencies. Please explain clearly and compellingly why you are interested in joining our Nanoscribe team. In addition to a complete resume in tabular form, please include current work and university and/or training certificates and also mention when you can start with us and what salary expectations you have.

Review of the documents

After reviewing your written documents, we may invite you to an interview. In a first short 30-minute online interview, we can clarify initial questions and get to know each other. If all works well and we are both interested in getting to know each other better, you will have a second personal interview with a member of the HR department and the head of the specific department. Therefore, we will invite you to our headquarters.

There, you will also have the opportunity to get to know some colleagues who are working in the team that you will maybe joining. If we invite you to an interview, you have already cleared the first hurdle.

Tips for the personal interview

In a personal conversation with you, we would like to learn more about you: What is your motivation to join us, how can you contribute your knowledge and skills and why are you fascinated by Nanoscribe and our technologies? Stay authentic and feel free to bring your questions to us as well. Because it is important for us that you get to know us, too.

How do I apply?

Please apply via our online application form. You will find the link to the form in the corresponding job opening on our website. Please complete the online application form, add your resume and write about your motivation in your personal cover letter. In addition, please attach all the other documents at the end to create a complete application. This includes, for example, existing work references and, in the case of career starters, training and/or university references.

Unfortunately, my application documents are incomplete. How can I add more documents to my application?

Once your application is received in our system, we will look through your documents. If we need further information or documents, we will send you a message. All you have to do is reply to this e-mail and add your missing documents to the e-mail as an attachment. We will automatically receive a message about your additional information. Please also check your spam folder regularly during the application phase, as your filter settings may filter out our messages.

How do I know whether a position is still open or has already been filled?

We always keep the vacancies on our website up-to-date. If there is currently no suitable position for you, you are also welcome to send us an unsolicited application. In this case, it is particularly important that you write a cover letter explaining your previous experience and skills and why you would like to join our Nanoscribe team.

What tips do you have for compiling your application documents?

Make sure that your application documents are complete. Please make use of the cover letter to particularly outline why you are applying for the position and what related experience and competencies you bring with you.

How long does the application process take?

Since your application documents are sometimes forwarded to several departments within our company, we are unfortunately unable to make any general statements about this. However, you will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your application. We are of course also interested in the fastest and smoothest application process possible and will therefore contact you as soon as possible, if necessary also with interim notifications on the current status of your application. If your availability has changed, please contact the HR contact listed in the job posting.

Is a lack of professional experience an exclusion criterion for an application?

Generally speaking, you should have the professional experience listed in the corresponding job advertisement. Slight deviations are fine. If you apply directly from university, internships or any previously completed vocational training are also recognized as prior experience.

What opportunities are there for direct entry after graduation?

Direct entry is possible in all areas of the company.

For which divisions in particular are you currently looking for reinforcements?

We are always pleased to receive your (unsolicited) application for positions in all divisions. In order to continuously develop our microfabrication technologies, the area of research and development continues to be essential at Nanoscribe. Especially software development is becoming more and more important. This area is growing and we are looking for tech experts with knowledge in software development, programming and architecture.

What happens after you have convinced my written application documents?

After the pre-selection based on the written documents, there will be a first short online interview and maybe in a second step also a personal interview will take place with you as well as representatives from the HR team and the head of the department you are applying for. If we invite you to such a personal interview, you have already cleared the first hurdle: Your profile has appealed to us and we would like to get to know you better. Be authentic in the personal interview and see it as an opportunity to get to know each other.
